Wurlitzer Piano : Portable models "100
series"
The Wurlitzer piano early "100" series had the case made of fibreboard and wood. It is fiited with a loudspeaker
attached at the rear of the piece. the portable Wurlitzer piano also feature trmolo effect with fix rate with
adjustable depth. This early series use valve circuity. Following that, the plastic case was developed in 1969. The
"200" series were mostly have the color of black, red beige and forest green.
Wurlitzer Piano: Console models
Wurlitzer piano was commonly used in educational institutions. With such usage, most of these model are not
portable. Most of them are beige or light green in color. It is mounted on a pedestal which contain loudspeaker,
sustain pedal, headphone niche. There are no tremolo for this models. Most of this model had been modified to 200 /
200A specification and mainly used on the stage.
Wurlitzer Piano: Spinet versions
The spinet version are wood cased spinet style instruments mainly designed for home domestic use. This version
normally has an upright piano style soft pedal which is actually an electronic attenuator. This wurlitzer piano had
the mechanism identical to that of contemporary portable model
Wurlitzer Piano: Butterfly Baby Grand
Model
The wurlitzer piano butterfly baby grand mode is a semicircular wooden case pian. It come with twin quadrant
shaped lids angle above the mounted lourspeaker.
Wurlizter Piano: 106P Model
This is a rare model of Wurlizter piano. This is the only known model that do not have 64 keys. The 44 note
classroom model is make with a plastic casing, come with one louspeaker, no controls, and no sustain pedal. the
106P model was available as a set of 8 on a folding frame. This model appears from as early as 1970s and most of it
is in orange or beige color
